A Little Bit of Everything

This is a very random post, but I have a lot of catching up to do.  Tyson and I do not have internet, phone service, or cable at our house.  I joke and tell him we are living in the dark ages.  That leaves me with only being able to blog when at his parent's house.

While in Utah Tyson and I attended my friend Jessica's ugly sweater party.  We decided this was the perfect opportunity to bust out my dads buffalo coat and my mother's awesome snowflake sweater.  It was great to catch up with friends from high school and see their darling kiddos.

After helping clean up after the party Jessica and I wondered where our husbands went, come to find out they were upstairs trying to figure out Dave's new 3D TV.  Oh Boys, what would we do without them.

New Year's was a blast.  We decided to have a Chinese New Year's.  We made egg rolls, pot stickers, Mongolian Beef, Sweet and Sour Chicken, and fried rice.  I was surprised how tasty it ended up being.

Tyson and I wanted some one on one time with our niece Madison, so we took her to Dairy Keen and enjoyed the best shakes around.

I couldn't get enough of spending time with my new nephew.  Utah was incredibly relaxing and much needed.

Since coming back to my new stomping grounds I have taken on the house wife role as I am in the pursuit of finding yet another job.  In the mean time I have enjoyed cleaning the house uncontrollably and learning how to cook.  I could get used to this lifestyle.

We also took a trip to San Luis Obispo for one of Tyson's appointments.  I fell in love with this quaint little town.  I asked if we could move there.

Tyson took me to a little restaurant at Pismo beach that had the most delicious clam chowder I have ever had.

After eating myself into a food coma one too many times, I have decided it is time to get back into shape.  I am going to attempt to run a half-marathon in May with some friends.  We will see how that turns out.  Wish me luck!
