Recap

We had a blast celebrating Tyson's Birthday.  We enjoyed Salsa's for dinner and yummy cake and ice cream for dessert.

Tyson's mom takes the same picture every year.  The birthday boy in front of the birthday banner.

We went camping this last weekend, for the first time this summer.  We went with six different families.  It was a lot of fun.  I loved smelling the fresh air and enjoying the scenery.  We of course had to have tin foil dinners.  Camping just isn't camping without them.  I think I have figured out the perfect ratio of meat, carrots, potatoes, onion, and cream of mushroom soup.

GiGi loved being outside for a couple of days.

The smores were also a hit.  I could sit by the camp fire for hours.  It is totally worth the smelly hair that comes with the territory.

I finally got around to cooking for the first in four months.  I decided it was time to make Tyson our favorite German Pancakes for breakfast.

I am now 18 weeks!  I can't believe I am almost half way to having our baby girl.  I felt her move for the first time this week.  I couldn't wipe the smile off of my face.  It is one of the neatest things I have ever experienced.  It got me so excited for the day I get to hold her for the first time.

We have been getting a few things here and there for the little babe and enjoying every second of it.  I can't wait to start working on her nursery.

We just got Tyson's great grandmother's chair reupholstered.  It took us forever to finally pick a fabric we liked.  Luckily while in Utah we were able to find a great selection.  We loved how it turned out.

Now that I have some more energy the house is starting to look clean again, the laundry is washed, and I am getting out of the house more.  Tyson and I are enjoying these last few months with just the two of us, three including GiGi.  But we cannot wait for the new addition.

Utah Getaway

After 15 hours and 12 bathroom stops later, Tyson, GiGi and I arrived to Utah for 10 days.

It was so wonderful to be able to getaway for a few days.

Our first stop as soon as we go to Utah, was to Nielsens Frozen Custard and Cafe Rio.  It never tasted so good.

GiGi is the best road tripper.  She was a champ and slept on Tyson's lap the entire way.

We were able to be in town for a great family friend's funeral.  Missey Killpack passed away after a long battle of breast cancer.  She was so beautiful and such a great person.  Her funeral was perfect and ended with singing and dancing to celebrate her Maori culture.

I was able to fulfuill my craving of Italian Village's pizza benders.  Seriously those things are to die for.  It was so much fun to visit with my friends.

Tyson and I were able to spend some quality time with our niece and nephew.  We played in the pool and enjoyed shaved ice.

We were also able to go to Madison's first t-ball game.  She was so stinkin cute.  It was also fun watching my brother coach her team.

Heber recently got a Kneaders, so it was a no brainer that we had to go there for their all you can eat french toast.  The syrup is my favorite.  I also ate my fair share of Dairy Keen while in town.

My belly continues to sprout.  My brothers couldn't believe I was pregnant.   We were able to find out what we are having while in Utah.  My sister in law and mom came with us to our ultrasound.  It was so fun to see our babes little button nose.  I can't wait to hold her.

I still can't believe we are having a GIRL!!!!

I loved snuggling my little nephew and showing him videos on my phone.

My mom had me go grocery shopping with her one night.  But this was no typical night, this night my back decided to go out on me.  I was in so much pain I could hardly walk, but mama had to get her groceries.  Don't worry she went and got me a jazzy scooter so she could finish her shopping.  I was mortified, but was in so much pain I couldn't resist.  I was laughing and crying all at the same time.  I may have tipped over a couple of things.

We had family and friends come over for a BBQ.  My mom makes some mean BBQ grub.  We munched on kabobs, dips, salads, baked beans, and root beer floats.  We also got out the crochet set.

It was fun to chat baby talk with the girls.  All three of us are big with child!

I couldn't refrain from kissing my cousin's baby all over.  She is so adorable.

My brother Tate came into town for the weekend.  We were so happy we could see him.

GiGi loved running around in my mom's big backyard.

Tyson enjoyed going to the rec center in the mornings to play basketball as well as watching Prison Break with my little brother Josh.

I was bummed I didn't get pictures with all of my friends, but it was so good seeing each of them and catching up.

Utah was beautiful as always.  I look forward to going back in December.

How cute is this little man and his dog that we saw on our trip home?
