I wanted to wish my dad a Happy Father's Day! There are so many things to be grateful for and my dad is one of them. I have to say I was a daddy's girl. My dad always had a way of making me feel special.
There are many things I will never forget about him. Date night, shopping at Nordstorms, dancing in the kitchen, letting me pick at his face, his twinkling eyes, his Birkenstocks with socks, his stew, his knowledge of the scriptures, the way he taught me to love people no matter what their circumstances are, his laugh, his jokes, and his smile.
I give all of the credit to my dad for my outdoorsy/adventurous side. He taught me the love for skiing, biking, fishing, camping, horses, snowmobiling, golfing, boating, four wheeling, and much much more. He taught me to never give up and to always pick myself up when I am down. I love you daddy!
It has been a while since I have celebrated Father's Day. This year is different. I have been blessed with the most wonderful father-in-law. He has taught me so many things already. He is always actively serving others, putting the church and family first, he is the most giving and kind man, he let's me tease him, and what can I say, he raised an incredible young man.
HAPPY FATHER'S DAY to all of the wonderful dads!!!!
I will never forget our ski date with your dad...that man knew how to make a mean tuna sandwich!! :)
