The 4th of July is one of my all time favorite holidays.
Swimming, BBQ and fireworks what's not to love?!
We attempted to cool off by soaking in the pool.

We topped off the night with the annual flag cake and homemade strawberry ice cream. P was enthralled with the bubbles and glow sticks. I couldn't get over her baby chubs walking around in diaper alone.
She wasn't sure what to think of the loud fireworks. She would snuggle into our chests and hold on for dear life. As soon as one stopped, she would clap her hands and start the entire process over.
