Afternoon Activities

Other than bubbles, I would have to say P's favorite activity these days is play dough.  She will honestly sit at her little table and play for almost an hour and will do this multiple times a day.  She insists on being the one to take each ball of play dough out of its container.  She is determined to flatten each ball and loves using cookie cutters to make shapes, even if they are Christmas shapes.  She even does a pretty good job at not mixing the colors.  When she happens to mix them, she does a good job at coordinating the colors.  I foresee a little artist.  I think she takes after her grandpa Brown.

It's on of my favorite things watching her chubby feet dangle from her chair and seeing her tiny hands mold her play dough into daddy, mommy, and LuLu shaped balls(big, medium, small).

I'm thinking its time I introduce her to salt dough.  Or homemade gak.  I remember making both.  Oh the messes I left in my mama's kitchen.

This day in particular P found her tights and had to wear them, in all of her toddler determination.  There was no convincing her other wise.  This ones determination is like no other.  But I'm pretty positive she will need that bold personality to survive this crazy world we are living in.
^^^ Also I'm pretty sure her tutu is on backwards. ^^^
^^^ Can't ge enough of those tiny hands. ^^^
^^^ I spy a baby Lucy. ^^^
^^^ She looks like such a big girl standing there. ^^^
^^^ Thank you Christmas cookie cutters, for the endless hours of entertainment. ^^^
^^^ Peek A Boo baby girl. ^^^
^^^ Oh the concentration it takes to roll out play dough. ^^^
^^^ Resisting the urge to bite into the salty goodness.  The texture is almost near to impossible to resist. I should know.  I was known to eat my fair share of play dough. ^^^
^^^ My kitchen has turned into the fun zone and I'm totally okay with it. ^^^
^^^ My favorite view, while doing dishes. ^^^
^^^ Someone likes the basketball as much as their daddy. ^^^
It's crazy to think I only one more year left with my sweet girl before she takes off to pre-school. She begs to go to school, but I think I'm going to hold off for one more year.  These years with them before they head off into the real world or so short.  I'm going to do my very best to savor each moment and help her creative mind flourish.
