Heat Wave

Summer is in full swing and is not slowing down anytime soon.  I will say, this summer has been 100% better than the last.  Not being pregnant, has made all of the difference.  I look back on pictures of my swollen feet and am reminded of driving around in a black car, with no A/C.  I love being home in an air conditioned house with my little Nellie.

When we do decide to venture out, it is either to the pool or the Splash Park.  Nellie loves getting wet and I love the snow cones.... oh the snow cones!  My favorite mix is pink lemonade, blue raspberry, and cotton candy.  I swear the snow cones at the Splash Park are better than the ones I have had in Hawaii.

I can't get enough of her squishy rolls in her swim suit.

She is a hit, with all the other kiddos.

I feel horrible anytime we have to drive somewhere.  The air doesn't quite make it back to her.  She is always covered in a pool of sweat, when we get home.  Any tips?

I can't wait to soak up the sun this weekend for the 4th of July.

  1. Hi! I found your blog through a friend of a friend of a friend. I know it's weird to post a comment for the first time on an old post, but I just had to share a tip for cooling down your sweet P in the car, that a fellow Clovis mama shared with me, just in case you haven't figured it out yet..I put my 2 front air blowers pointing straight up, so that the air hits the top of the roof, and blows back down on the babies. It's so hard to get air to them when they're rear facing :/ And I have to ask...where did you get your pink halter bathing suit?? It's adorable!
